MODEL DECLARATION OF WEBSITE AND MOBILE APPLICATION ACCESSIBILITY FOR SUBJECTS REFERRED TO IN ART.3 PARAGRAPH 1-BIS OF LAW 9 JANUARY 2004, N.4

Grand Hotel Telese is committed to making its website accessible, in accordance with Law 9 January 2004, n.4, art. 3, paragraph 1-bis.
This accessibility statement applies to the website www.grandhoteltelese.it/

COMPLIANCE STATUS

This website is partially compliant with the accessibility requirements set out by current legislation and the UNI CEI EN 301549:2022 standard, due to some non-compliances and justified exemptions for disproportionate burden, as provided for by art. 3-ter of Law 4/2004.

Partially compliant content

The following features are only partially compliant:

1.4.4 Text resizing - Text may not always resize correctly but remains generally readable and accessible.
2.5.3 Label in name - Some controls or buttons may have a visual label different from the name used by screen readers, but the function remains partially understandable.
2.4.1 Skip blocks - Some mechanisms to skip repetitive blocks may not always be available or easily identifiable, but navigation remains partially manageable.
1.4.12 Text spacing - Text spacing may not be fully adjustable, but this does not compromise overall readability.
1.2.1 Audio-only and video-only (pre-recorded) - Some pre-recorded audio-only or video-only content may lack text alternatives, but their impact on the overall experience would be limited.
1.2.2 Captions (pre-recorded) - Some pre-recorded videos may not have complete captions, but part of the content would remain understandable.

Non-compliant content

The following features are non-compliant:

1.3.1 Information and relationships - Structural information may not be recognizable or correctly linked, making it difficult to use the page with assistive technologies.
1.4.1 Use of color - Color may be the only means of conveying essential information, creating difficulties for users relying on assistive technologies or with color perception difficulties.
1.4.3 Contrast (minimum) - Many texts or visual elements may have insufficient contrast with the background, significantly impairing readability for users with visual impairments or low vision.
1.4.5 Images of text - Textual information may be presented only as images, making it difficult or impossible to read with magnifiers or screen readers.
2.4.7 Visible focus - Focus may not be visible during keyboard navigation, making it difficult to know the current location on the page.
4.1.1 Parsing - The code may contain significant or frequent errors, potentially preventing correct reading of content by assistive tools.
2.4.4 Link purpose (in context) - Various links may not clearly indicate their destination, even when reading surrounding text, causing confusion for users of assistive technologies.
4.1.2 Name, Role, Value - Many interactive elements may not provide correct information about name, role, or value, hindering interaction for assistive technology users.
1.1.1 Non-text content - Non-text content may lack any text alternatives, making it completely inaccessible to users who cannot perceive it visually or through other senses.

Justification for disproportionate burden
The adjustment would require:

• external specialist interventions,
• significant financial investment,
• considerable organizational impact, diverting resources from normal operations.

Therefore, at this stage, it is not sustainable to implement all required adjustments; however, we commit to progressively improving accessibility. Any intervention, update, or modification will also aim to ensure greater accessibility, within the technical, financial, and organizational resources available.
